We are a private preschool that offers a safe, loving and nurturing preschool and childcare services for children ages 2 years through pre-kindergarten for the State College, PA and surrounding areas.
At Mt. Nittany UMC Preschool, our caring, friendly and experienced teachers provide a developmentally appropriate, theme-based curriculum that enables children to develop to their fullest potential. We strive for children to learn to socialize with their peers, build self-esteem and work within classroom structure while forming pre-kindergarten and kindergarten skills within a positive environment through exploration, discovery, creativity and achievement.
We believe in encouraging a strong parent-teacher relationship to make sure children’s first school experience is fun and to ensure our families’ needs are met. Our open door policy encourages parents to participate in activities, field trips, and stories.
